Inspiration
The Covid-19 pandemic has been one of the most dangerous challenges our planet has faced in recent decades. This unprecedented public health emergency has shown that health facilities, medical transport, patients as well as health care workers and their families can - and do - become targets everywhere. As a result of this alarming trend, health care providers are at risk of violence and infection, so protecting their health and lives is critically important.
What it does
Due to the spread of COVID our front line workers are busy so we developed this chat app to help patients connect with specialized doctors worldwide directly to minimize the spread of COVID and keep everyone safe in their own homes. In this app patients and doctors can both save time as their is easy access to the specific doctor you need. Apart from that there is AI integrated which will respond 24*7 to help you out. We plan to add SOS button for emergency services as well.

Challenges we ran into
Time was our biggest challenge. We were unable to implement our idea in the scale we wanted to. We wanted to have different components in our application which helped both frontline workers and patients and also addressed the scarcity needs of hospitals. Another challenge was designing the chat web application, figuring out how the UI should look and respond to different users
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we have created something out of this hackathon and learnt a lot. Moreover, we have always wanted to create something for the health heroes of the world and it is really a blessing to create something for them. Also, our application is very user friendly and anyone can easily understand it which makes it accessible to all.
What's next for HOSPI CHAT
In the near future, we'd like to create a database with a list of diseases and their common cures. In the future we will also like to add mental health component to our application where patients can talk to a chat bot to receive motivation and track the progress of their recovery. We will also add a component where doctors can receive appreciation from the patients and they can see how many people they helped. This will motivate frontline workers to help people. We plan to implement a lot of things in the near future for this app.
