Inspiration

What it does

How we built it

We used open databases from Nutrionix, Recipe, and OpenTable, to get the recipe data and ingredients. We built three microservices and used kubernetes to deploy it to the Google cloud platform. For the front end, we used the React framework.

Challenges we ran into

Finding the business model within the idea/project. Sticking to a single approach to the business model.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Learned to collaborate with team members despite differences in ideas and values. Seeking the mentors for guidance to getting the project from an idea to startup.

What we learned

Without a solid understanding of our customer base, we cannot build a business model. In addition, we learned that a single day isn't enough to find the perfect demographic.
