Inspiration

My inspiration was a book that did the same thing as the app but I thought, What if it was an app that is more portable and can have many more features.

What it does

It is an app which gives you the word of the day, it has a dictionary which can give you the meaning of the world you have just entered and it also has a text to speech feature which can help people with vocal difficulties to speak.

How we built it

We this app using android studio and python, we wanted to make a desktop version and a mobile version but because of technical issues, we weren't able to complete the desktop version so we just used the mobile.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge that we ran into on the desktop version was that we weren't able to add buttons which were a really important part of the app. This was because pygame did not support that feature and that was what we had to make graphics with.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The accomplishment we are proud of is that we have made this amazing app and we are happy that it works.

What we learned

We have learnt more about android studio and how it works. we also learnt a few debugging methods in android studio

What's next for HiTech

I Don't Know what is next but I know it is going to be big. We will just have to wait and watch.
