History Untouched

inspiration

Our inspiration for the project came when we were talking about the how life has changed through the years and we wanted to give people a chance to remember specific moments in their lives that happened in previous years.

What does it do

Our Application lets users create time capsules and store them in a database. When the user enters the specific date of the time capsule, he/she can view the contents of the time capsule which includes, images, photos, videos, etc.

What tools were used

We built the application using React for the Front-End and Cockroach DB for the backend

Challenges ran into

The only challenge we ran into was connecting the Front-End of the code to Cockroach DB

Accomplishments

We are proud of the fact that we were able to develop a website in a small amount of time

What was learned

We learned how to utilize Cockroach DB, React, and how to generate images using the programming language C

What is next

Our next goal is to run our website using a public domain so that History can remain untouched from now on
