Inspiration
The endless possibilities in a VR space given by the PICO VR Headset inspired us to devep a game where the user can fly in a ISS station and even in the space to accomplish the given tasks.
What it does
The VR user needs to coordinate movements and the VR space to save astronauts which may die because of low oxygen.
How we built it
We used the PICO VR SDK in Unity3D.
Challenges we ran into
Fast movements in a VR space may cause motion sickness. We spent lot of time to minimize this issue.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Since we are targeting the native PICO mobile platform, we are proud of the perfomance combined with the graphics which can be achieved in this enviroment.
What we learned
We learned a lot about the user experience and also obstacles which a VR Platform brings.
What's next for highrescue
If the feedback for highrescue should be positive, we would like to publish it on the PICO Lab Store.
