During the hackathon, our team was inspired to create a discord bot that would allow users to play some geography games. We ended up building a bot that offered a variety of games such as guessing capitals, identifying as many countries as possible, and providing fun facts about different countries. We utilized python discord.py and the restcountries API to develop our bot. Throughout the process, we encountered several challenges, including command execution errors. Despite these hurdles, we persevered and accomplished our goal of creating a functional bot for the first time. We are proud of what we have accomplished and the skills we have acquired in the process.
