Lack of good fitness games for people who love games and want to exercise

What it does

HeartRush is intended to be a racing party like game in which you race against friends using your heart rate to control your character speed

How we built it

Using unity for the game engine and hyperrate to broadcast heart rate data

Challenges we ran into

Too many. Unity kept breaking the dependencies and assemblies. We spent half the time debugging as it was our first time using the engine

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Able to connect the heart rate to control the characters, proving that the idea is viable and with more polishing it could be a hit

What we learned

Unity can be quite quirky

What's next for HeartRush

Implement multiplayer, improve UI, add buffs/debuffs
