Inspiration
In Nigeria, getting access to the best health care providers has proven difficult, so i decided to build a web app that lets users suffering from similar illnesses interact with each other and book appointments with verified professional health care providers.
What it does
Heathly lets you join groups of people with the same sickness as you, all members of each group are verified. It also allows you to book appointments and ask questions to verified health care providers. It keeps you up-to date on current treatments and provides a safe space for people to communicate.
How we built it
Flutter was used to build the front end and the back end, affinidi API was used to handle the interaction between the issuer, holder and verifier. Firebase Firestore was used to store user information into the database.
Challenges we ran into
It was difficult for me initially to understand what Verified Certificates were, but perseverance paid off.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud to build my first web app from scratch.
What we learned
The affinidi API was very well explained and was easy to follow especially the blogs that accompanied it.
