Inspiration
The internet is messy. We want to clean it up.
What it does
It extracts meaning from webpages and filters content that is not suitable for children. Since we have an embedded model of the site, we can tailor the experience to the individual.
How I built it
Tensorflow model running in the browser (currently as a chrome extension)
Challenges I ran into
Launching tensorflow models in browser.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
Procuring user surveys/interviews to gain insight in the market space, curating an entire dataset, building a model, and deploying the model in under 24hrs.
What I learned
How to iterate quickly. Very quickly.
What's next for Haven
Content understanding outside of the scope of parental tooling.
