Inspiration

After meeting at a Bitcoin investor conference in 2015, we realized that we shared a common goal: To monetize some of the arbitrage opportunities between crypto exchanges.

What it does

Makes money.

How we built it

By documenting and testing a successful manual arbitrage process and then translating it to run as PHP code between exchanges via their API access.

Challenges we ran into

As always, the main pain was how to quickly get dollars back into the buy account. We also had to really dig into order types.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are happy to have it working and profitable in a day. We also feel confident that it will be fairly easy to arbitrage between a centralized and a decentralized exchange in the next version.

What we learned

That a lot can be accomplished in a short time if your properly focused and work together.

What's next for Happy Arbot

Although we are looking forward to adding other strategies like lending bot and market making bot, we are most excited about being able to arbitrage between traditional centralized and decentralized exchanges like EtherEx, Supernet and Omni DEX.
