Inspiration
Many people struggle with organization, stress management, and productivity. These are all factors which impact our mental health. Our project aims to positively impact these aspects of a persons day-to-day life.
What it does
On this site, we have built in a pomodoro timer, meditation aid, and a to-do list. Users are free to use whichever feature they need throughout the day. The site is aimed at helping users plan their day, manage stress, and boost productivity.
How we built it
At the beginning stages, much of our time went into brainstorming ideas. The design process was then aided with tools such as canva. HTML, CSS, JS.
Challenges we ran into
Programming the logic for the to-do list and the pomodoro timer proved difficult. However, we were able to come together as a team and navigate our way through the problem.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are very happy with the aesthetic of the UI, as well as the meditation aid. Furthermore, the functionality of the To-do list is something we take pride in as well. Furthermore we are very satisfied with how we were able to efficiently work together to build the final product. As a team, we were able to fill in for each others weaknesses, and boost each others strengths.
What we learned
We learned much about efficiently working in a small team environment to build projects of this scale. We also learned on how to navigate through the design process, and implement our planned design as code.
What's next for Happier2Day
We would love to develop the UI further to make it more interactive. Furthermore, adding more features to the site is definitely something we will be looking into in the near future. We feel that implementing features such as a fitness page, a calendar, and a meal planner would be very exciting and beneficial for users! Lastly, we would love to officially deploy this product so that whomever needs it can make good use of it.
