HappenIn

The inspiration for HappenIn came from the frustration of missing out on nearby events and the difficulty of finding things to do. You wanted to apply the simple, intuitive swipe-match model of dating apps to event discovery, making it easy and fun for users to find and commit to local experiences. The goal was to solve the "what's happening?" problem with a fast, personal, and engaging interface.
