We were inspired our daily inconveniences.
What it does
Maps specific gestures to key bindings, enabling users to interact seamlessly without pressing any physical keys.
How we built it
Our frontend development process began with designing wireframes, which were then converted into HTML and integrated with the backend. For the backend, we utilized a local Flask server with Mediapipe installed.
Challenges we ran into
We made last-minute changes to our frontend, worked on implementing gesture recognition, and pivoted from using MediaPipe to developing a Chrome extension.

Learn how to collaborate on code using GitHub by creating and managing different branches, merging changes, and applying your HTML coding skills.
What's next for Handsy
We are thinking of transforming our project into something tangible for a larger market.
