Inspiration

Millions of Muslim pilgrims from around the world make the journey to Makkah (Saudi Arabia) every year, and there is no technology available to help guide them through the journey that most likely they will only make once in a lifetime. Our team hopes to develop an app that would help guide them through the experience.

What it does

It helps pilgrims understand what to do and when to do it and where to do it at every turn of the sacred trip to Makkah.

Challenges I ran into

Compiling all of our sections together within one app so that it can work together. Also, immolating the app for demo purposes.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

learning a new program, thunkable and MIT App Inventor, being able to communicate effectively, making an app that allows an easier pilgrimage experience.

What I learned

difficulties of making a operational app, learning new programs, and working proficiently with each other.

What's next for Hajj App

Review app with Hajj experts and refine all details of the trip so that it has all the proper information. AI data collection to help improve the pilgrimage experience in the future.
