Inspiration

We as a group are aware of the challenges that college students or the general public faces with mental health and how taxing it can be on someone and through that we thought why not make something that can help those that need a stress reliever.

What it does

Haha-ppinesshub.club is a comprehensive mental health website that offers personalized exercises based on a short survey, a mood tracker for self-awareness, an insightful self-help blog sharing success stories and practical tips, and a "Resources Near Me" feature that maps nearby yoga studios, gyms, therapy centers, and other well-being services. Tailored to enhance individual mental wellness, our platform provides a holistic approach to support users on their journey to a healthier and more balanced life.

How we built it

We used HTML, Javascript, and css to build the website through a lot of tutorials, stack overflow for errors and monsters to keep us awake we built something with a sleek design and clean functions.

Challenges we ran into

We had to complete this project in such a short time frame with a lot of errors from git so we had to keep going back and forth from old to new code but we figured it out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We can all say we improved our HTML skills while using CSS for the design which looks awesome. Overall we are proud that we had an idea and that we were able to execute it to the degree that we did.

What we learned

We learned a vast amount of skills first how to make a website from scratch using HTML, Javascript, and CSS and then also got to clean up on our git skills though we had many errors, it enabled us to think out of the box and explore new routes.

What's next for Haha-ppinesshub

Out next step is to improve our design and CSS. Then we wish to add more surveys, recommendations, and exercises. There are a lot of ways we imagine ourselves expanding this website. We are also hoping to try to see if we can integrate this into the UC Merced health database so this can be available more widely to students near us.
