Inspiration

Our inspiration was non-conventional and broken up amongst a bunch of random things. It took a very long and twisted path to come up with this idea. I suppose what inspired us was the way that code can be used to control so many different things. Robots, websites, computer performance also Our PORTFOLIO. All just affected by lines of text! Mind. Blown. We completed this project in a short span of time so we could complete only 10% of the total but we are sure that this will be our mission to run this at a working stage at the end of this month

What it does

RateMyPortfolio.co is a web application used to view, review and rate one another's portfolio portfolio so that it can display the portfolios having the highest ratings order

How we built it

Challenges we ran into:

We were just a team of two having just a little bit of Html, CSS and Python experience. So we had no experience of creating a full stack application. The difficult part ofcourse was the questions like "How to do this?", "How can I do that?" Thankfully, "Youtube", "Stackoverflow" got us covered for most of the issues we faced

Accomplishments that we're proud of:

Being able to atleast create 10% of what we planned out to do. Considering the fact we started from scratch and with no idea of how to build it. We are proud of creating an application using the Flask framework on which we had no prior experience.

What we learned:

We learnt a lot of things in the span of 2 days. We learnt how to manage our project on Github, the Flask framework, Google firebase, and a lot among others.

What's next for HackMyPortfolio.co:

We are planning to complete our application which is at the moment far from complete by the end of this month. We never thought we would reach so far. Thanks to MLH we got learn some new tools and technologies in this 2 day journey.
