About our team

We are a team of Vietnamese engineers with extensive experience in Web3 development. We not only contribute to the NEAR ecosystem with projects that promote the development of the system, but we also want to promote the transition of web2 developers to web3 through NEAR. Some of our projects were even recognized at Near Apac 2023. Additionally, our project has received incubation support from both GFI-VBI and NEAR Vietnam Hub.

Inspiration of Project

Our project is inspired by the extremely challenging experiences we had while participating in hackathons across different platforms, including the NEAR ecosystem.

At the most recent hackathon at NEAR APC 2023, we observed that hackathons within the NEAR ecosystem are often fragmented and lack coordination. They are scattered across different events and platforms, and the scoring and prize distribution process is not effective for participants or organizers. We experienced long delays in prize distribution, and the project evaluation process was opaque. Therefore, we built a hackathon platform for builders on the NEAR ecosystem with features to support interaction between the platform and near.social. Smart Pool Prize automatically performs the process from judging by the jury to selecting the winners. It will also automatically pay rewards and mint certificates in SBT without any intervention, making the whole process more transparent.

What it does

Feature 1 : Direct interaction with Near through the platform, with all hackathon posts being pushed directly to near.social. Feature 2 : With Smart Pool Prize, it will create trust in the process of organizing and participating in hackathons. Money will be returned to winning teams after they meet the requirements that sponsors have added to the pool before. Everything is done automatically through Smart Contracts. In the future we will have more AI support in the process of managing and supporting prize Pools.

Feature 3 : With Soulbound tokens, certificates will be automatically generated for winning teams after the prize distribution process for teams is completed through Smart Pool Prize. This will be a way to demonstrate the skills and contributions of hackers in the NEAR ecosystem.

Feature 4 : In addition, we also support BOS builders being able to code directly on our platform, with the support of built-in libraries to help developers easily create their applications with BOS.

What's next for HackHub

We plan to complete the main features of the product and will run the product for the next NEAR hackathon at NEARAPAC2024. In the meantime, we continue to develop more features and tools to make organizing and participating in hackathons easier. We plan to collaborate with universities and tech companies to organize hackathons for their students and employees. We hope to host next year's NEARCON hackathon on our platform so that the organizer can reduce their workload a lot in organizing a hackathon.
