My hackdee project is a tale of hopes and dreams, with the ending a brutally harsh realisation that all the awesome API's in the world will be under massive load and therefore unavailable when you try to hook into them very early in the morning.

The basic premise is an android app that will scan a barcode (barcode doesnt work but entering food via keyboard does)

The barcode / food is then sent via restful api to my website which will take it as a main ingredient and recommend the top 30 meals based around that ingredient.

The recommended meals are hooked in and if you select a meal, all the ingredients needed for said meal will be revealed!
