Hack for Good

Inspiration

To contribute to the growth of Charleston, SC as a technology hub and to help solve a major challenge. College students will have the opportunity to work alongside industry professionals and technology sponsors, gaining valuable experience making connections and making a positive impact on the city.

What it does

A platform to create a recurring event that solves an important problem. Engage tech enthusiasts to brainstorm creative ways of visualizing our city's data to aid decision making, transparency, and public engagement and benefit city planners and stakeholders in making decisions.

How we built it

I used Adobe Express and Dall-e to create the presentation and Tableau for the data Visualization

Challenges we ran into

Scoping the project made it difficult to accomplish everything. Getting stakeholders input is complicated.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The inclusion of key stakeholders input in forming the idea.

What we learned

I learned how to listen to the people most interested in the outcome of the project. Basically the people who will be participating and sponsoring design the idea.

What's next for Hack for Good

To actually get stakeholders to sponsor the hackathon.
