Inspiration: We were inspired by the idea that it is often hard to find new places to try new foods, and we often want to find these places with friends/company. This application was the result.

What it does: This app connects foodies to each other and allows them to gather in forums to share food spots and information with each other. It also allows for instant messages if anyone would like to speak to each other directly.

How we built it: We built this application prototype with Figma. It most likely would be built out with Android Studio using Java.

Challenges we ran into: We ran into issues with deciding the total framework of our app, how it should look and what features we should add, as well as how they fit with each other.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are proud that we have a fully fleshed out prototype, and were able to decide on our features and how they mesh with each other.

What we learned: We learned that it is important to ensure that our features mesh together and make sense with each other, and that our audience matters greatly. Our users need to be able to see the benefit and usefulness of our app, therefore it is greatly catered to them.

What's next for GrubBuds: In the future, GrubBuds can become a more fleshed out and coded application to help foodies find each other and share their interests!
