Inspiration
Groovie is inspired by other movie review websites, except with a twist. Groovie is created through only social media API calls at is an api that is based off of tweets.
How it works
Groovie makes api calls to twitter to get recent tweets with tags related to current movies. Using these tweets, Groovie makes calls to the Alchemy API hosted on Mashape in order to conduct sentimental analysis on the tweets. With sentimental analysis, the app is able to determine whether a user had a positive or negative review of that movie.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into the challenge of trying to perfect the NLP algorithm. Under the given time constraints, there isn't enough time to ensure a perfect algorithm that is able to analyze sentiment in a tweet perfectly.

Perfecting the NLP algorithm and extending the concept of reviewing movies to reviewing other things.
