Inspiration
Research from uCalgary shows 80-95% of people give up or fail after 30 days of setting new goals or resolutions. However, it is also observed that people can spend countless hours on games. By gamifying habit tracking, users can be more motivated to complete their tasks and help their slime friend.
What it does
Gamifies task management and habit formation by rewarding users with coins to spend in the shop. With coins, users can powerup their slime friend with new weapons and hats.
How we built it
Using Godot, Figma, React.js, Node.js, and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
During the development process, we had a huge issue with exporting the Godot animations into HTML5.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to create an amazing demo and implement a very cute but accessible idea.
What we learned
Time management is important.
