The service our team has developed integrates our collective experiences from young adulthood to entering the professional industry. We capitalize on our skills and ideas to optimize team infrastructures and company objectives.
Our team lead, Youngjun Suh, highlighted a key aspect of our problem identification. He observed his father's struggles in selling artwork and identified a gap in the market, leading to the conception of a platform bridging artists and galleries. “I Watched my dad and the struggle that he had with his business. Through this I came up with a solution that would help me approach problems in life later on. His struggle to sell his artwork and the difficulty to find, at last, the right art museum where his creations could be displayed both finally highlighted a huge gap in the market. It wasn't about selling art; it was about creating some meaningful relations between artists and galleries. I realized that, in fact, many more artists can be at a similar disadvantage in terms of how they are to bridge the gap between their creative works and places where they could be shown. On the one hand, this, I thought, was an opportunity for me to innovate and come up with a platform that would enable these linkages, hence making it easy for artists like my dad to find the right places to display his fine arts. This idea was the cornerstone of my project for the Hackathon. So, I envisioned this as a business that would list not only art museums and galleries but also offer a network space for the artists and the venues to meet one another based on individual needs and styles for each other. This solution was aimed at making the process much easier, reducing time for research, and focusing more on the creation and sharing within art. Building a community to enable the thriving of arts and the flourishing of partnerships within, to solve problems.”
In our pursuit of connecting technology with individual business owner’s needs, we recognized the costliness of outsourcing services for small businesses. We advocate for collaboration, which offers mutual benefits and lower initial costs. Our personalized PRM platform facilitates networking among business-minded individuals.
To address the complexity of our project, we adopted a Cross-Functional systems perspective, enhancing team productivity and problem-solving abilities. Predicting potential bottlenecks and offering solutions were integral to our approach.
In implementing AI technology, user trust and product viability were paramount. We refined our solution through preprocessing user inputs with the OpenAI API, employing the BERT model for interpretation, and using cosine similarity for matchmaking.
Managing interdependent tasks posed challenges during development. Prior planning and resource flexibility emerged as key strategies to mitigate such issues. Modular design and agile practices facilitated smoother project progression.
In conclusion, effective time management and strategic resource allocation are crucial for project success. Anticipating task dependencies and fostering cross-functional collaboration streamline project development. Our team's ability to adapt and problem-solve collectively underscores the importance of agility in project management.
