Inspiration
We set out to solve a problem that greatly affected our community. Everyday, people pass by homeless individuals and can only help by giving them spare change. We wanted to develop a way to economically, effectively, and efficiently allow members of a community to provide support resources, materials, and knowledge to help homeless individuals get back on track.
What it does
GoFundThem allows people to create profiles of homeless people they see in the daily lives and have other people contribute donations to that person, a sort of "GoFundMe" for homeless people who can't set up their own GoFundMe campaign.
Challenges I ran into
We had a hard time figuring out how to handle payments because we didn't have access to a paypal account or credit card
