Inspiration
Github is just too much centralized, users are locked-in and there is no way to build bridges between different host services. Furthermore, the recent conflict between the US and Iran affected some github users in a negative way.
What it does
It creates a social graph across all the git services like github, bitbucket, gitlab, .. or self-hosted git servers and allows to connect with open source developers through their blockstack id.
