Inspiration
I have always wanted to find tricks and shortcuts to get things done quickly, and make life easier. I thought what would be a quick way to navigate my computer and set it to do tasks automatically, and this is a solution I thought of.
What it does
Using different trained hand gestures I am able to set them to do anything I want to my computer. For example open a chrome tab, or move my mouse, or click there, etc. I am able to access and do things faster with these controls.
How we built it
Taking many pictures of different gestures and training a model to recognize them. Also I used python libraries to be able to track positioning, different types of gestures, right and left, to give more complexity and more freedom of more things to do.
Challenges we ran into
It was difficult to learn how to train this all and be able to control the entire computer, but once one thing worked everything just followed.

Getting this system to recognize different gestures.
What we learned
Different things that can be done quicker just with one command.
What's next for Gesture Command
We are hoping to add more gestures and make the program more efficient.
