College Student Budgeting Tool

Inspiration

We broke and trying to be !broke Since the theme of this Hackathon was Financial Awareness, we wanted to create an app that aids college students in understanding and organizing scholarships, FAFSA applications, and budgeting!

What it does

This application is meant to be a tool to help college students keep track of their finances .

How we built it

Flutter and tears

Challenges we ran into

We ran into issues using custom assets as we wanted to stick to a certain branding.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to properly implement persistence while we're moving throughout the app, the data users input remains on those pages. An interactive calendar that provides useful information for the user when selects a certain date.

What we learned

We learn how to keep track of data, implement different Flutter components and create something that we are proud of presenting.

What's next for !GeauxBreauk!

We don't plan on working on this further but just to use this project as part of our portfolio to demonstrate our skillset and our ability to work as a team on a fast paced project.
