Inspiration

At present, there is no way to get information about a property other than the reviews given by the users.

What it does

We are building an enhancement for HomeAway which gives realistic information about the rental property by encouraging social interaction.

Challenges we ran into

Deploying mongo database on ec2 instance. Direct connection of Alexa to mongodb.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Our website is live and we have an MVP ready. Alexa integration is a cool feature we are also proud of.

What we learned

A lot about AWS. MongoLabs. Working with Alexa. Working in teams with people from different backgrounds.

What's next for Gamification

Carrying out data analysis and data visualization on the datasets collected from the new feature.
