Inspiration
CoolMathGames was one of our favorite sites growing up. We tried to replicate it during this time, but ran into several difficulties.
What it does
It currently only has two "games", both of which do not work properly. Both were intended to be dodging games.
How we built it
Both games were created using repl.it, and we coded them in HTML5, Javascript, and CSS. The first games was made with THREE.js.
Challenges we ran into
As we are both beginner developers, it was very difficult to create a well functioning game site as out first project. We hope to expand on this idea in the future, but as of now we will focus on projects closer to our skill level.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are both proud that we were able to(at the very least) publish a site that does not instantly crash.
What we learned
THREE.js is an incredibly interesting library, which we will continue to learn more about. Today, we were only able to learn the very basics of it.
What's next for Game sites
Better games, better design, and a better experience on our game site.
