Inspiration
Self-learning is a challenging process, and finding the correct tools online can be confusing. It's getting harder to keep track of tasks and notes as we have to install distinct applications for each activity.
What it does
Fyn is an interactive web application that helps users grow as individuals. People who struggle with time management, note taking, concentration, planning schedules, etc. have the chance to learn these abilities without being forced to select a distinct application for each skill. It achieves this by letting users choose which of their weaknesses they want to improve on, just through a single web application, removing the stress and time limits associated with needing to select a new application for every specific skill they want to acquire.
How we built it
Google Sites Canva HTML5 CSS3
Challenges we ran into
Initially we decided to write the entire webpage with the help of bootstrap and flask. We worked on this project in a hackathon (our very first one), and we had a time limit of 24hrs to build it. So, we made a switch to google sites to build the UI faster but still neat.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
fyn was supposed to have multiple different features excluding journal, to do list and pomodoro timer. But we still managed to build those three features even with zero experience.
What we learned
First make it work, then make it better.
What's next for fyn [Prototype]
