Inspiration

We're big fans of old school arcade games, and thought we'd try our hand at making one.

What it does

You fly around in space shooting aliens, but most of the time you're shooting yourself.

How I built it

We used the Godot engine, and Aseprite to do the art.

Challenges I ran into

Learning how to use both the engine and language for the first time.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Having a fairly polished end product to show. The art's also pretty radical \m/.

What I learned

How to use the Godot engine, and the associated scripting language. We also learned how to balance a game.

What's next for Future Blast

More enemies (that we have the art for, but Oliver didn't have time to implement). A shop (we have coins, but nothing to do with them). Bosses also.
