Inspiration

We were inspired by Credit Suisse's #09 SHAPE YOUR DREAM BANK workshop and talking to their team.

What it does

FutureBank is an Android app that takes certain interactions with your bank and takes a new spin on it:

• User's spending habits at lunch are aggregated and compared to other users with similar means. Should a user live above his means, the average daily cost for lunch is calculated and presented. Further more, suitable local restaurants that better fit the wealth are suggested.
• The app analyses the transaction feed and detects recurring subscriptions. Should they occur, an additional entry shows up, stating the expected monthly expenses due to subscriptions.
• Your balance is hidden, unless unlocked with fingerprint. Opening the app in the bus shouldn't mean, that everyone knows your finances.
• Google actions answer questions within the context of your spending

What's next for Future Bank

The applications are endless, however we would like to focus on correlating spending habits with time spent at work. A lot of times, the number representing price is not indicative enough of the implications of how much time hast to be invested.
