What we were building for

Every hackathon has that one guy pitching “Uber for Plants” or “AI that writes better AI.” We realized what founders need isn’t funding, it’s therapy.

So we built FundMeNot, a brutal, chaotic AI panel that judges your startup idea faster than a VC ghosting your cold email.

What broke?

The biggest challenges were handling speech-to-text accuracy for live pitches, syncing multiple AI personalities in real time, and preventing overlapping responses. We also faced minor model alignment issues, some judges got too brutal all the time, and had to fine-tune their tone for constructive yet entertaining feedback.

Why does it still kinda work?

Because chaos is realism. The roasting may glitch, the logic may die, but the truth always hits harder than your investor’s silence.

The “broken” moments even add to the experience, making it unpredictable, human-like, and more fun. It successfully captures the essence of real-world pitch feedback: sometimes insightful, sometimes chaotic, always honest.

There is also a panel of judges(who sometimes fight between each other)

What it does

You’ve got 30 seconds to pitch your “revolutionary” idea. FundMeNot listens, analyzes, and responds , not like ChatGPT, but like a panel of unhinged investors with personality disorders.

You might get a “Broken Judge” too, a glitched-out hybrid personality that mixes their traits and logic. You never know what you’ll get.

Our AI judges don’t sugarcoat. They roast. They question your life choices. Sometimes they even give decent advice, but usually they just tell you to pivot into a bakery.

Core Features

Pitch Mode: Speak your idea in 30 seconds — or get roasted by timeout.

Dynamic AI Personalities: Each judge reacts differently — with sarcasm, realism, or chaos.

Broken Twist Mode: Random glitch events spawn cursed judge combos.

Leaderboard: Compete for the "Most Roasted Hall of Shame"

Judge Selector: Choose your poison or let fate decide.

Panel Mode: Get judged by all of them at once.

Challenges We Ran Into

Teaching AI how to roast without getting cancelled.

Making 2D faces show *disappointment * convincingly.

Handling 10,000 “bro, my idea got roasted too hard” feedback submissions.

Keeping the VC judge from swearing. (He still does sometimes.)

Accomplishments We’re Proud Of

Perfectly balanced humor, UX, and AI unpredictability. Built a system that feels alive Created a fun, addictive feedback loop for founders to self-reflect (and cry).

What's next for FundMeNot
