Inspiration
All of the members of our team are in advance math classes, and we all knew the struggle of learning each individual math function, so we strived to make a way for learning these tough skills to be educational and fun.
What it does
Our project allows you to make functions with our preloaded drag and drop system and get a ball from its starting point to the ending point without touching the ground.
How we built it
Our team used Godot, a gaming engine with its own scripting language. We did most of the art on Inkskape, and the cover art in Canva.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran through are making some of the art, and when not allowing two or more things into a collision detector box. Also, half our team was brand new to Godot and were forced to put our minds to the test to figure this out.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of figuring out how the graph and the drag and drop system worked in Godot.
What we learned
We learned how to use Godot's drag and drop system, and we stepped out of our comfort zone because none of us really knew how to do art.
What's next for Function Hacker
We could have better utilized our time and we could have communicated a little better, but overall, we did good.
