Inspired to learn geospatial data science and apply it to solve real world problems.

What it does The main goal of this project is to use FourSquare and utilize location intelligence and NLP to solve recent problems like real estate, pandemic , Hurricane, Retail

fsq-Insights

fsq-Insights helps the users to get insights for a particular location.

User can search for specific location (Texas) and query(Hospital, restuarant etc ) using PLACE SEARCH API and

Trending Tweets are extracted for specific location from twitter tweepy API.

Sunburst chart on location and category to further categorize the location into location zip codes

When User Clicks on specific bubble ,Users can understand the insights of specific location and decide further :

PLACES TIPS API is called to extract the tips for selected fsq and then

** Sentiment of the tips are calculated using NLP and time series bar chart to understand how sentiment have changed over time. ** Key phrases are extracted and word cloud is displayed .

fsq-Sector Location Intelligence:

1.Real estate - Location specific home information is extracted using the Redfin API which provides the user to get the information related to house price .

Once the user understands the pricing and related house information, We can then use foursquare API to get the near by stores, amenities, schools etc and further get NLP Insights to understand the sentiment and entities and also demographic information to decide the place.

Then ,User can get location specific tweets from twitter to further understand the market specific and user sentiments.

2.Hurricane IAN - Hurricane causes a lot of damage to the public and people post on twitter requesting for help . we can extract the tweets ,use ML to classify the people requesting and identify the top location location .

Then ,We can further use Foursquare API to get the information in real time that will help the people during these emergencies

1. SImilarly , We can use it during the pandemic cases - Covid/Monkeypox and other sectors.

What's next for Scale it and extend it other sectors.
