Inspiration

Real estate is massive in value but painfully slow in behavior—rent moves monthly, ownership is locked behind paperwork, and users are forced to trust static PDFs.
We were inspired to reimagine real estate as a live, programmable, and visual financial asset, while enabling smarter capital allocation toward sustainable urban development, just like crypto-native finance does for digital assets.


What it does

FractionRealmRise is an RWA platform on Aptos that enables users to:

  • Explore real estate through an immersive 3D city → building → unit experience
  • Buy fractional ownership of real-world properties
  • Earn rent streamed per second, not monthly
  • Verify assets using on-chain compliance and audit signals
  • Unlock gamified yield incentives through diversified ownership sets
  • Surface sustainability-aware investment insights to help users compare properties beyond just returns

How we built it

We built a full-stack decentralized application using:

  • Next.js 14 for scalable frontend architecture
  • Mapbox Standard Style to render real-world 3D cities without custom modeling
  • React Three Fiber for immersive interior-level visualization
  • Aptos Move smart contracts for secure fractional ownership and continuous rent streaming
  • Simulated Shelby & Photon integrations to demonstrate compliance workflows, identity, and incentive logic

The system follows a clean drill-down UX backed by a real-time, programmable financial engine, bridging physical assets and on-chain finance.


Challenges we ran into

  • Making real-world assets feel transparent and trustworthy in a decentralized environment
  • Translating complex financial and compliance concepts into a simple, intuitive UX
  • Simulating sustainability and compliance workflows without access to live institutional datasets
  • Designing per-second rent streaming logic that is accurate, fair, and gas-efficient
  • Balancing immersive visuals with performance constraints in a web-based environment
