Food Watch

Isn't free food awesome? Wouldn't it be great if there was an app that would tell you if there was an event with free food in your vicinity? Well, now you can! With FoodWatch you can find local events with free food. All info is created by users, for users. The app is very simple, but that didn't stop us from ballsing it up! Running a broken Ruby Backend and a UI that looks like a 12 year old designed it, FoodWatch is the cutting edge of rubbish hackathon apps; Brilliant idea, poor execution and an unhealthy sleep to caffeine ratio. The app is designed for students, but anybody could use it; me, you, Andreea the cat, Harry the the town... Also, in sticking with our bad design specs I'm refusing to google how markdown works.
