Floodlight

Inspiration

We liked the idea and see huge benefits from a working solution.

What it does

The app helps users to organize themselfes in forming groups to get to their common goal - the football stadion.

How we built it

We wrote a backend with java spring and mongoDB, deployed it on a kubernetes cluster and hosted it on the google cloud platform. The frontend is designed as a smartphone app, built with Flutter from Google and utilizing material design guidlines.

Challenges we ran into

Much to do, little time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

scalable backend and intuitive UI.

What we learned

We learned Flutter as a new framework and Dart as its programming language.

What's next for Floodlight

Depending on how the audience likes Floodlight, we may continue the app and add more features.
