The main UI that may give an idea about Finiz

Inspiration

We were provided with a theme FINTECH/FINANCE. I went through various designs on Dribbble and Behance and started with my research for the workflow of the mobile UI that I decided to design.

What it does

My design is for a mobile app that I named "FINIZ". The UI is carefully designed according to Norman's principles. Initially, when we open the app we come across a flash screen while the rest of the contents of the app load. The next screen tells about what the app actually is about and how it may help the user. The user can either skip it or go through all of them. We then come to the landing page for our app where we proceed with the login or signup after agreeing with the terms and conditions.

For new users: The app asks for basic details of the user and then verifies the email address and the mobile number. If the user doesn't want to enter their email they can skip it but mobile number verification is important.
Once verified the user is asked for the PAN number; according to the rules of the Government of India. One can only invest online if they have a valid PAN Number. The user is given an option here to enter it or not to. If they don't they won't be able to invest. Once done the user lands on the Additional details screen where he/she has to add a valid bank account in order to proceed with investments, again if they don't enter the details they won't be able to Invest. However, they'll be able to access the app but with limited features. Once done with the complete verification process, the user comes to the explore screen of the main app, where they encounter several features of the app. They can switch to their dashboard and see the profits and losses of their investments. There is a profile option available at the top right corner which they can always access for their info, help & support or log out.

For Already Registered users: Already registered users can just agree with the terms and conditions of the app and login into their pre-existing account.

How I built it

I designed it using Figma.

Challenges I ran into

I've never worked on UI where I had to design an app within 24 hours. It was a challenge that I took and did well for my own expectations.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Being a novice, I was able to implement all that I thought of implementing in a matter of a few hours along with proper research for the flow of the design.
