Inspiration

Many of our team members are currently searching for internships for the summer, which inspired us to make a website where finding internships and forming connections could be done easily.

What it does

EzIntern is a tool designed specifically for students looking for internships. It can often be overwhelming for students who are first beginning their job hunt, so EzIntern helps make this process easier. EzIntern features a 'Learn' page that teaches you how to find an internship, such as resume and interview tips. Filters on the job search page helps the user easily find internships based on their length, location, required skills, and years of experience. Connecting with employers and other internship seekers is made easy with the messaging page. You can also view and edit your experience, accomplishments, and other information with the Profile page.

How we built it

We started by creating a demo of our website using Figma. This gave us a general idea of the flow and interface. We used Visual Studio Code Live Share to work on our code collaboratively.

Challenges we ran into

Our team ran into challenges when trying to connect a database to our website. We did not have enough time to create databases for users that have an account or for internships.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completed the front-end of our design which has a great user interface and experience.

What we learned

We learned how to use use Visual Studio because it was our first time collaborating on a code with other people. We also learned the basics of UI/UX design.
