Inspiration

The modern workplace is constantly evolving, and employees need flexibility more than ever. Inspired by the shift toward hybrid and remote work, we wanted to create a solution that helps people find the right space for them, whether that’s a quiet corner for focus or a collaborative area for teamwork.

What it does

Find Your Focus (FYF) helps employees quickly locate and book flexible workspaces within their organization. It allows users to explore different zones, view real-time availability, and choose the environment that best fits their working style.

How we built it

We began by sketching out wireframes on paper to clarify user flows and layout ideas. Once we had a clear vision, we transferred the designs into Figma, where we refined the interface and user interactions to create a smooth and intuitive experience.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was narrowing down the app’s scope. We had many potential features in mind, but focusing on what truly added value required tough decisions, iteration, and plenty of teamwork.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud that we committed to a clear, purposeful idea and followed it through from rough sketches to a cohesive design prototype. Achieving a polished, functional concept within limited time was a huge win for us.

What we learned

We learned how to translate ideas from paper to Figma and how to use design strategies that enhance the user experience. We also gained a deeper understanding of how UX decisions impact functionality.

What's next for Find Your Focus

Next, we plan to bring the prototype to life through coding and implementation. We’ll focus on refining the technical details, integrating real data, and enhancing interactivity so that the app becomes a fully functional workspace management tool.
