Inspiration
Our inspiration for this project is to create an accessible resource for financial literacy. Most financial resources are paid, and many people who are trying to improve their financial standing can't afford those resources.
What it does
Our chatbot gives advice, general and specific to the user, and answers questions.
How we built it
We built this web application using Streamlit and the OpenAI API.
Challenges we ran into
The challenges we ran into was determining how specific we should make the prompt. We weren't sure if we should add information about the user's salary, credit score, etc. to personalize the responses further.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud to create a simple and clean webpage that effectively suggests solutions for users.
What we learned
We learned how to use a new framework, Streamlit, and take into consideration principles of UI/UX design.
