FinanceCentral helps people who are struggling with their finances to have increased financial literacy. It has an AI chatbot to help people given the financial information the user provides.

Inspiration

We were saddened by the lack of financial literacy in the global setting. We wanted to create a website where everybody has equal chances to advance financially.

What it does

This website analyzes the financial situation of clients based on the data they give. Then the AI Chatbot gives advice. There are also separate sections for banking, investing, insurance, etc... This allows the user to learn about finance.

How we built it

We built this website using HTML and JavaScript. We also used CSS for styling purposes.

Challenges we ran into

We did not know how to implement an AI Chatbot into our website. We needed to ask for help and collaborated with friends.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our ability to adapt quickly and make creative code for our very first Hackathon.

What we learned

We learned all about github, visual studio code, and git.

What's next for FinanceCentral

We are planning to add more functionality in the JavaScript and also create a better AI for the chatbot.
