Inspiration
We were inspired by the Rice Purity Test. It teaches you about what activities can potentially decrease your credit score. It's modeled in the same fashion as a Purity Test -- more you click on, the more your score decreases. However, we have some differences: some activities may decrease your score more than other ones, and it models the way your credit score might actually drop (e.g.: if your score is really high and you did 1 wrong thing, then your score might drop more than if your score was already really low and you did 1 wrong thing.)
What it does
The Finance Purity Test is a short questionnaire that users of all ages can fill out. They can guess their credit score, and then submit to see what it actually is! Data on calculation of scores comes from HuffPost and BankRate.com.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, and JS.
Challenges we ran into
We actually were working on other project ideas (crowdsourced money saving web app, climate change sentiment analysis, hardware sensors) and decided at the last minute that they weren't sustainable / fully finished yet, so we pivoted to this game :)

What we learned
For this project, we learned about credit scores. From our other projects, we learned a more about Python machine learning libraries and hardware.
What's next for Finance Purity Test
We would create more finance-related resources if given more time!
