A desire to make picking out outfits less time consuming and more efficient.

FIMP is an app that lets you take photos of your closet and then separates those images into categories. Users will then be able to mix and match outfits from the palm of their hands. Some different features of FIMP includes different tabs; a "packing" tab where you can add pictures of the item you wish to take on your next vacation, a "weather suggestion" tab that gives you a list of items from your closet that would best fit the weather outside at that moment, a "search closet" tab to make special occasion garments easier to find, and finally a "seasonal suggestions" tab that organizes your garments based on what season they fit into.

Creating a fully functional app

We are proud of our logo, our idea and our mock-up app pages that give an overview of what this app would look like if it were functioning, and we are proud of our LED light.

We learned the challenges of coding and the basics of CSS. We also learned that building an app is very time consuming.

The future of FIMP could include bluetooth hangers with LED lights that turn on when given the signal from the app that you have chosen that specific piece as part of your outfit. Eventually, users could tag what store the different garments came from in order to advertise those specific stores on each individual app (almost like customized advertising so the user only has to see things they may actually be interested in).
