Inspiration

When people need groceries, medicines , mask and other essential items during this pandemic they go to the market individually by which market place or shops sometimes become crowded with people. And so chance of getting infected increases. So I got an idea that why not people in their own community come together virtually and share essential item list with the local grocery shop keepers or volunteer of their own community. So that those volunteers can deliver the specified item to the specific people at their door step.

What it does

It will help people to avoid going out, and a those local volunteers can help them with this. Here, People can create community, and with that community id, people can send join request to the community, but only person who belongs to the community will be added by the votes of the people of that community. So their is no admin. Everyone has equal access rights and opinion. People will also vote for volunteers of their own community. and if nominated volunteer gets 50% yes votes by 50% of the people of the community then that user will promoted to volunteer. So now he can acknowledge delivery requests for their own people. And can deliver it to them.

How I built it

I used html, css and javascript and little bit about bootstrap to build the front end . And I used PhP as a back end with MySQL server. All the designs and pages are coded from scratch.

Challenges I ran into

Designing takes lots of time, its design is unique and very specific.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I am really proud to help people, our own people to fight this pandemic together.

What I learned

Everything needs time to happen you just need to do it.

What's next for FightIndia

I am planning for an Android App for FightIndia.
