Discharge Guard is a single-button for generating very informative and detailed clinical discharge summaries.
Discharge Guard uses ai to create discharge summaries with highlighted sections for doctors of clinic staff to prioritize for review.

📚 What we learned
- a medical assistant is not enough
- communication at the patient-clinic interface is high stakes
- you dont have to sacrifice patient experience to improve patient outcomes
- a small fix to a problem can be quite impactful
🚀 What's next for Discharge Guard
- demo a single red "discharge guard" button in a clinical erp system
- adding more guardrails
- connect patient ids with bar codes, qr codes , and improve our existing name search
- demonstrate human-in-the-loop in context
