AIthentic - Proof of AI Content

Inspiration

The rise of AI-generated content has created a global trust problem. Deepfakes, fake essays, and fabricated news are everywhere — and no one knows what’s real.

What it does

AIthentic verifies if content is AI-generated or human. If AI, it shows which model produced it. If human, it issues a “Human Authenticity Badge.” Users can share proof across social media, schools, and workplaces.

How we built it

XION Dave SDK → rapid iOS/Android app development. zkTLS → cryptographic verification without exposing raw data. App Attestation → prevents tampered screenshots or fake claims. AI Metadata/APIs → identify model sources when possible. UI Mockups → built in Figma.

Challenges we ran into

Designing a simple UX for non-technical users. Balancing privacy with verification. Ensuring proofs are tamper-proof and portable.

Accomplishments that we’re proud of

Building a clear MVP concept in record time. Creating a trust-first design for a global problem. Leveraging zkTLS and XION SDK for cutting-edge proof technology.

What we learned

Zero-knowledge proofs can make verification practical for everyday users. Trust tech must be simple to be adopted. XION’s developer kit speeds up mobile builds dramatically.

What’s next for AIthentic

Partner with schools and newsrooms to integrate proof checks. Offer APIs for social media and publishing platforms. Expand to blockchain for immutable content proof.
