Farmazon

Inspiration

Our inspiration came from farmers who struggle to sell their produce to consumers and get recognition.

What it does

It uses APIs that we created to allow farmers to create an account and log in, then add produce to a marketplace that includes the price of the product, the seller, and an image.

How we built it

We built it using Python for the back end, and HTML, CSS, and JS for the front end.

Challenges we ran into

Challenges that we ran into were having to fix many problems with the interaction with the platform and the backend, using JS. This includes how we were unable to add produce to the marketplace for some time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A big accomplishment that we are proud of is linking our own API using Python with the front-end portion, and not just using an existing API like ChatGPT or Gemini.
