What it does

Faithful Flight serves as an entertaining game where players can explore an array of customizable features, from textures to Discord presence. It not only provides personal enjoyment but also serves as a platform for community interaction through shared high scores and social integrations.

How we built it

This project was made from scratch using Python, using libraries like pygame for graphics and pypresence for Discord integration.

Challenges we ran into

Developing Faithful Flight came with obstacles, including debugging, complex logic for player interaction with obstacles, and encrypting user data.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

One of the proudest achievements is the creation of a fully functional sprite loader and texture pack, enabling customization. Additionally, implementing Discord presence as an icon and dynamic status feature highlights the innovative integration of gaming with social platforms.

What we learned

we learned of how to efficiently encrypt code as well as load textures and discord presence and icon.

What's next for Faithful Flight

We wish to keep on improving the game with new additions (such as power ups new levels better obstacles) and maybe publish it on steam or as a mobile app one day
